Pace University's Elisabeth Haub School of Law provides a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) in Environmental Law, an advanced research program designed to train future legal scholars for academic work in environmental law globally. Prospective SJD students are expected to have significant graduate-level environmental law studies, preferably including an LLM degree in environmental law from Haub Law or a similar institution. While the program typically takes 3 years to finish, students may be granted extensions allowing up to 5 years to finalize their dissertations.
