Our program guides you toward earning a bachelor's degree along with the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate for Adolescent Education. You can choose to specialize in one of these subjects: biology, chemistry, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (available exclusively at the NYC Campus). Earning a BS in Adolescent Education provides you with the expertise to shape young minds and nurture future leaders. Our nationally accredited adolescent education programs all culminate in a bachelor's degree (BS) and the Initial Teaching Certificate for Adolescent Education (grades 7-12). You'll gain specialized knowledge in your chosen teaching subject while learning to adapt your instruction to meet the diverse needs of adolescent students in middle and high school settings.
