The robotics industry has expanded dramatically over the past ten years and shows no signs of slowing down. Once limited to specialized professionals, robotic technology is now entering everyday life. From domestic helpers and advanced prosthetics to self-driving vehicles, caregiving assistants, and emergency response units, robots are integrating into our daily routines. Exploration bots, surveillance systems, industrial automation, farming technology, and medical robotics are revolutionizing both commerce and culture.
Oregon State University's Robotics program leads this groundbreaking evolution.
Our cross-disciplinary robotics curriculum provides both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Robotics. Master's students can choose between thesis-based or project-based tracks. The doctoral program equips graduates for careers in corporate settings, research institutions, or academia. Each student collaborates closely with faculty advisors to design a customized study plan aligned with their professional aspirations.
