Oregon State University's Applied Economics Graduate Program provides Master of Science, Master of Arts, and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Economics. At both graduate levels, the curriculum includes: (i) comprehensive core coursework in economic theory, econometrics, and quantitative methods, and (ii) specialized focus areas such as environmental/resource economics, international trade/development, and customizable fields based on student interests. Learners apply economic principles and analytical techniques to address practical issues, with careful consideration of institutional frameworks, situational contexts, and empirical data.
This program is developed and taught by OSU's renowned Applied Economics faculty, representing multiple departments including Applied Economics, Forest Ecosystems and Society, Forest Engineering/Resources/Management, the School of Social and Behavioral Health Sciences, and the Economics Program within the School of Public Policy.
