The Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology's programs deliver extensive academic and practical training, equipping future toxicologists and environmental health professionals for roles in academic, governmental, and industrial settings. Our environmental and molecular program features M.S. degrees (both thesis and non-thesis options) and Ph.D. programs. We also provide an Accelerated Masters Program (AMP-TOX), along with undergraduate and graduate toxicology minors. Complementing these options, students can pursue a Graduate Certificate in Toxicology, broadening our academic portfolio.
By merging biological and physical sciences, our interdisciplinary curriculum fosters research and learning in molecular and computational toxicology, environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology, and risk assessment. These initiatives align with our cutting-edge, globally recognized research, outreach, and educational goals. Foundational core courses, specialized advanced training, and collaborative experiential learning opportunities reinforce students' scientific expertise while deepening their understanding of applied toxicology principles.
