The Bachelor of Science in Wood Innovation for Sustainability is an interdisciplinary program that equips students with skills to create with sustainable, plant-derived materials like wood, bamboo, reeds, and crop fibers. Alongside technical and design training, the program provides insights into contemporary challenges surrounding eco-friendly material use, covering international commerce, entrepreneurial solutions, renewable energy, and ecological consequences.
Program alumni find rewarding careers across industries, applying their specialized knowledge to advance sustainable manufacturing, product development, and green economic initiatives. Others establish creative ventures in artistic and design disciplines, focusing on wood as their central medium.
Students complete foundational coursework before selecting an advanced concentration in either Art & Design (A&D), Business & Marketing (M&M), or Technical Sciences (S&E).
