The American Studies program at OSU-Cascades aims to equip students with skills to inspire innovation across diverse fields such as business, education, creative arts, arts management, legal professions, healthcare, government service, and advanced studies in humanities or social sciences. Our approach focuses on developing students' abilities to analyze texts carefully, communicate effectively, and thoughtfully examine matters of fairness, sustainability, and multicultural perspectives. We foster skills in analytical reasoning, global awareness, civic engagement, investigative methods, and adapting to our rapidly changing digital world.
