The History Department provides a Master of Arts program designed to equip graduates with the skills needed for contemporary careers in various sectors including business, government, education, non-profit organizations, and advanced studies in history, law, library science, or business. This program introduces students to key debates and emerging topics in the field while covering diverse regions and eras in world history. Learners can choose from a wide range of courses, with opportunities to focus on specific geographic areas or historical periods through elective options. To earn the degree, students must complete either a comprehensive exam to showcase their field mastery or a thesis to highlight their research capabilities. A minimum of 30 credit hours is required.
