The School of Medical Diagnostic and Translational Sciences provides a cytotechnology program as part of its Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree. Students can pursue this as either a first or second degree, or through a post-baccalaureate pathway. Cytotechnologists are skilled laboratory specialists who collaborate with pathologists to identify cellular abnormalities in samples from various body sites, enabling early cancer detection.
