The geography department provides both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree options. Their curriculum delivers comprehensive geographical education with a focus on human-environment interactions,
while allowing students to focus on one of three specialization tracks: urban planning and emergency/hazards management, environmental studies and resource management, or geographical information systems (exclusive to B.S. degrees). Additionally, they offer undergraduate and graduate certification programs in geographic information science and coastal environment spatial analysis.
