The Communication major is among the most rapidly expanding programs in the College of Arts and Letters. Our specialized tracks cultivate innovative, culturally competent communicators with exceptional skills. Through our learner-focused methodology, we blend theory with practical application, creating a vibrant foundation for continuous education and adaptable career paths.
The combined bachelor's/master's program in communication/lifespan and digital communication is overseen by the Communication and Theatre Arts Department. This accelerated pathway enables outstanding communication majors to apply up to 12 credits of 500-level graduate courses toward both their undergraduate BA/BS and, upon acceptance, the MA in lifespan and digital communication. Participants must complete at least 150 total credits (120 distinct credits for the bachelor's degree and 30 distinct credits for the master's). For additional details, reach out to Dr. Gary Beck.
