The Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies aims to foster greater knowledge and appreciation of Asian countries and cultures, facilitate research about Asia, and provide tools to improve comprehension and strengthen connections between Hampton Roads communities and Asian counterparts. The Institute of Asian Studies organizes and oversees specialized initiatives while managing the Asian Studies degree program.
