The Mathematics Education Ph.D. program at Oklahoma State University equips students to research mathematics teaching and learning across P-12 and higher education levels. Graduates gain expertise to instruct undergraduate and graduate mathematics education courses, qualifying them for faculty roles in teacher preparation programs, community colleges, and various leadership positions in mathematics education.
Our flexible curriculum allows you to customize your academic path to align with professional aspirations. To earn the degree, students must complete at least 69 credit hours beyond the master's level, which includes 15 dissertation credit hours.
