Plant biology cultivates an understanding of life's diversity, complexity, and interconnectedness while laying the groundwork for advancements in pharmaceuticals, biofuels, and agricultural improvements. The plant biology program equips students for careers in government and industry, as well as for graduate studies, medical school, and other professional programs. OSU's pre-pharmacy track offers specialized preparation for pharmaceutical education. The campus-based OSU Botanical Society serves as an excellent support network for students with strengths in biological sciences, chemistry, and mathematics.
