Civil Engineering stands as one of the most ancient engineering fields, concentrating on the constructed surroundings that include many elements characterizing contemporary society: structures, bridges, highways, and more. At OSU, the objective of Civil Engineering is to train civil and environmental engineers with enduring expertise and abilities for their careers, engage in research and academic pursuits, and disseminate knowledge via outreach initiatives. Our alumni work in municipal, state, and federal organizations, as well as in consulting firms of varying sizes, both within the country and abroad.
