The Department of Theatre provides a Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Musical Theatre, delivering intensive conservatory-style training in this specialized performance discipline. Each year, OSU's theatre department stages four main productions and studio shows for the campus community. Musical Theatre BFA candidates benefit from close mentorship by accomplished faculty through hands-on lab work and performances starting their freshman year, preparing them for professional success.

Qualification Requirements
Submit your high school transcripts If you have earned college-level credits you must submit a college transcript from each institution attended as well.
All transcripts must be issued by the school in the original language English translations are also required if the official transcript is not in English.
Translations must be word-for-word in the same format as the original and typed on the school letterhead stationery or on business stationery signed by a translator attesting to familiarity with the foreign language Please note that we do not accept credential evaluations from third-party services.
Scanned or photo copies of transcripts from international institutions are accepted for admission purposes ONLY.
International students qualify for assured admission if they meet the following criteria
High School GPA 3.0 plus based on a 4.0 scale.
AND
English language proficiency exam scores one of the following
iBT TOEFL Internet-Based Score 61 plus.
IELTS Academic Score 5.5 plus.
PTE Academic Score 46 plus.
iTEP Academic Score 3.5 plus.
Note OSU will only accept the Duolingo English Test DET results from students beginning Fall 2024
