The Graduate Program in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering aims to cultivate skilled researchers, educators, and professionals with expertise in advanced computing. Learners have the option to earn a master's degree, doctoral degree, or both. Those aiming for a PhD without completing a master's can opt for the direct PhD pathway. The master's program offers two distinct paths: the Research track, which involves creating an original thesis, and the Coursework track, which emphasizes more classes and includes a comprehensive exam. Both pathways provide students with a strong foundation in computing principles while keeping them updated with cutting-edge computer science concepts and technologies.
