The Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) Graduate Program takes an interdisciplinary approach, uniting over 100 PhD candidates and 150 faculty members across various departments in seven colleges. This program awards doctoral degrees and equips students for scientific research and teaching careers in both academic and industrial settings. Training encompasses diverse research fields such as: Bioinformatics, Cancer biology, Cell biology, Developmental biology, DNA replication and repair, Gene regulation, Molecular medicine, Molecular neuroscience, Plant molecular biology, RNA studies, and Virology.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
