The Adult Gerontological - Primary Care (AG-PC) specialization within the Master of Science in Nursing program equips students to become healthcare leaders. This program emphasizes comprehensive patient-centered care for addressing common, acute, and chronic health conditions, while providing clinical training focused on treating patients across the lifespan from adolescents to elderly adults. Oakland University's Nurse Practitioner Program features instruction from seasoned faculty and offers students engagement with various campus groups, such as the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners' Oakland Chapter. The School of Nursing maintains accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
