The Master of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering program prepares graduate students for leadership roles in both industry and academia. Our intensive curriculum offers both thesis and non-thesis tracks, with completion possible in as few as nine months. Core courses provide comprehensive coverage of fundamental chemical engineering principles, while specialized electives explore cutting-edge areas like biotechnology, nanoengineering, and sustainable practices. Thesis candidates may collaborate with any of our distinguished faculty members on research projects. Program graduates achieve deep understanding of contemporary chemical and biological engineering principles through our core coursework, supplemented by focused study through departmental and interdisciplinary electives.
Admitted students must hold a U.S. bachelor’s degree or a comparable non-U.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution.
