The Joint PhD Program in Computer Science and Learning Sciences leverages the strong, expanding relationship between computational research and learning studies. Breakthroughs in technology constantly introduce innovative methods to analyze and enhance learning across diverse environments and throughout every life phase. Designed for students passionate about both disciplines, this program eliminates the need to select between these interconnected fields.
Admitted students must hold a U.S. bachelor’s degree or a comparable non-U.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution.
GRE scores must be sent directly from ETS and must be no older than five years at time of matriculation.
For the TOEFL, you must score 600 or higher on the paper-based test, 250 or higher on the computer-based test, 100 or higher on the internet based test. For the IELTS, you must receive a score of 7.0 or higher.
