The Learning Sciences (LS) undergraduate concentration, introduced in 2016, expands upon the School of Education and Social Policy's renowned graduate program in learning sciences - the world's first when established in 1991.
This concentration focuses on analyzing and enhancing learning across diverse social settings. Students explore cutting-edge learning theories and practical design applications, covering emerging technologies, educational spaces, curricula, social structures, and physical environments. Ideal for those pursuing careers in edtech, instructional design, museum education, educational research, curriculum development, or corporate training, the Learning Sciences program offers comprehensive preparation.
