The Department of Radio/Television/Film delves into media's evolution, theories, and creation across various formats—from traditional cinema to television, sound engineering, digital platforms, and cutting-edge innovations.
Students gain practical experience in developing, refining, and managing groundbreaking media projects, including films, digital animations, audio compositions, and immersive installations. Their creations frequently earn national and international recognition. The curriculum investigates global media landscapes across different eras while analyzing cinema, broadcast media, sound arts, and digital platforms through social, economic, and political lenses.
We champion innovation, thoughtful critique, artistic expression, inclusivity, and forward-thinking perspectives in both academic research and creative projects. Our curriculum and research initiatives emphasize media history across film, broadcasting, audio, and interactive platforms alongside critical examinations of media content, tools, and societal influences.
Our instructors investigate media's role in shaping culture while harnessing its power to communicate impactful ideas. Committed to bridging theory and practice, they encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration and advocate for more diverse, accessible media ecosystems. This approach equips aspiring media professionals—future writers, filmmakers, producers, and executives—with the skills to captivate, influence, and enlighten global audiences.
