The Associate of Arts program serves as the foundational portion of a Bachelor's Degree. This flexible curriculum may or may not align with particular university transfer prerequisites. Consult your academic advisor for institution-specific transfer guidelines. The Peace and Conflict studies curriculum examines: warfare and harmony, cultural identity, philosophies of non-violence, dispute mediation, peace initiatives, trauma healing, rehabilitative justice, and social equity frameworks.
NVC provides academic recognition for Peace & Conflict Studies participants. The program requires completion of Humanities 1302 (HUMA 1302 Introduction to Peace & Conflict) plus six additional credit hours in Peace & Conflict designated courses.
