First-year observations allow students to shadow educators for 30 hours, introducing them to classroom dynamics and effective instructional methods while connecting them with experienced professionals.
Sophomores undertake fieldwork that includes developing curriculum units and delivering instruction to middle school students (grades 5-9).
The junior-year practicum immerses students for 90 classroom hours, where they implement lessons, incorporate digital tools and reading skills, apply active learning techniques, and utilize evaluations to shape instruction.
