NKU Chase College of Law provides a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) program tailored for professionals not seeking a Juris Doctor (JD) but wanting deeper insight into the U.S. legal framework and related subjects. This program suits working professionals or those entering the job market who aim to enhance their expertise in specific legal areas to advance their careers.
The MLS degree helps students build comprehensive knowledge of legal principles impacting fields with regulatory or legal components. The 30-credit curriculum can be completed part-time (day or evening classes) in 2-3 years or through full-time study in one year.

No standardized test is required for acceptance to the Master of Legal Studies program. Students may, however, submit test scores they received on standardized tests. When making an admissions decision, Chase College of Law will consider the applicant's undergraduate GPA (2.50 minimum), undergraduate major and institution, work experience, and answers to the questions provided on the application. Students who are otherwise qualified for this program can be granted conditional admission, pending completion of the American English Language Program. TOEFL: 79 IBT or 550 PBT, IELTS: 6.5 band
