IOPC provides an extensive selection of graduate programs. Students can choose to specialize in interpersonal communication, organizational dynamics, team communication strategies, or persuasive techniques. Growing possibilities exist to combine these academic disciplines with technological applications in the interactive media laboratory.

The Master of Arts in communication studies caters to learners aiming to enhance their expertise and leadership capabilities in communication theories, media analysis, rhetorical research, and journalistic practices. Participants may concentrate on a single specialization or design a customized curriculum incorporating multiple focus areas. Graduate candidates can primarily pursue their M.A. studies in communication through concentrations including interpersonal relations, organizational communication, persuasive techniques, rhetorical analysis, journalism, or media research.

Qualification Requirements

An applicant whose native language is not English must present an IELTS score of 6.5 or alternatively, a TOEFL score of at least 80 on the TOELF ibt, Normally, to be considered for admission, a non-U.S. citizen shall have completed a four-year undergraduate degree. A minimum 2.75 overall gradepoint average (GPA), based on a 4.00 system, in their baccalaureate program or must have completed 15 or more semester hoursof graduate work at an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.20 or higher.
In addition to the application, the following materials need to be submitted to the Graduate School.

At least two letters of recommendation (letters from professors are preferred).
Transcripts.
Statement of Purpose.
GRE Scores: Students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher should contact the graduate director to request a GRE waiver.
The TOEFL and the Test of Spoken English are required for international students.
