The Master of Arts is a 30-credit graduate program designed for students seeking advanced education in art and design disciplines. This curriculum fosters interdisciplinary teamwork and solution-focused exploration. Professors and graduates from this program have gained national and global recognition in their specialties, emerging as innovative pioneers and influential figures in the arts. Those choosing the studio art concentration must select a focus within studio (ARTS) or design (ARTD) coursework and must successfully complete a portfolio review within their first year or before finishing 15 graduate credit hours to continue in the M.A. program.

Qualification Requirements

An applicant whose native language is not English must present an IELTS score of 6.5 or alternatively, a TOEFL score of at least 80 on the TOEFL ibt. Normally, to be considered for admission, a non-U.S. citizen shall have completed a four-year undergraduate degree. A minimum 2.75 overall gradepoint average (GPA), based on a 4.00 system, in their baccalaureate program or must have completed 15 or more semester hoursof graduate work at an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.20 or higher.
