Ideal candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in life sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, or engineering, with prerequisite coursework including one year each of physics, general chemistry, and physical chemistry, plus mathematics requirements of either three calculus semesters or two calculus semesters plus differential equations.
