This certificate program is tailored for business students outside the finance discipline who wish to explore intermediate financial concepts. Expanding upon the foundational principles taught in FINA 320, the curriculum offers comprehensive exploration across three core finance domains: Investments, Corporate Finance, and Financial Markets & Institutions. The program aims to equip non-finance students with financial analytical skills for strategic decision-making and to comprehend how changing financial landscapes affect businesses. Enrollment is selective, considering academic performance and aligning with the finance major/minor admission criteria. Certificate candidates must achieve a minimum grade of C in all mandatory courses, complete all requirements within four years, and cannot apply transfer credits toward the certificate.
