Built upon core principles of physics, chemistry, and math, this curriculum deepens your understanding of Earth's interconnected systems and their physical/chemical interactions. You'll interpret geophysical datasets encompassing seismic activity, gravitational fields, magnetic properties, and electrical resistance to investigate subsurface phenomena and surface events like earthquakes. We require a minimum 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) for first year and transfer students.
Transfer students who have earned 24 or more credits at an American post-secondary institution only need to submit that transcript as part of their application. A high school transcript is not required.
NAU accepts transcript evaluations from members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) as part of the evaluation process. However, the result of a transcript evaluation does not guarantee that transfer credits will be awarded.
