The Bachelor of Science in Education degree has been integral to NAU's legacy since its founding. K-12 physical education plays a vital role in public health and encouraging active lifestyles. This program specifically trains educators to effectively teach physical education across all grade levels while fostering physical activity within school communities. Upon completion, graduates qualify for Arizona's secondary teaching certification in physical education with K-12 endorsement.
NAU's Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd) has roots stretching back to the university's early days. This degree prepares graduates to establish or advance careers teaching physical education from preschool through high school.
