This Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd) program equips you with the expertise to educate children from infancy through age 8 while qualifying you for Arizona's dual teaching certification. Built upon a solid foundation in child development principles, this degree enhances your understanding of young learners' traits, requirements, and the multifaceted factors affecting their growth and education.
The program offers aspiring educators the chance to obtain dual certification in Early Childhood (EC) and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) at the undergraduate level. Holding both EC and ECSE certifications enables graduates to effectively support ALL young children from birth to age eight through research-backed strategies in diverse educational environments. Upon completion, graduates qualify for Arizona state certification in both early childhood education and early childhood special education.
