The Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering equips students with specialized knowledge to address critical global issues in fields like biomedicine, energy, security, and environmental sustainability. Through foundational courses and specialized electives, students build comprehensive expertise in chemical engineering principles while acquiring practical experience via lab research or cooperative education.
The program offers both thesis (research-focused) and coursework-based tracks. Students can also engage in Northeastern's cooperative education initiative, obtaining up to eight months of professional experience in their chosen field as an integral part of their studies.
