The School of Law provides a range of globally-focused, adaptable LLM programs designed to meet diverse professional needs. From gaining insights into the US legal framework to collaborating with American attorneys, specializing in specific legal areas, or preparing for US bar exams, Northeastern's LLM equips legal professionals to reach their aspirations. The On-Campus LLM delivers an intensive academic experience, combining fundamental legal principles with practical applications while allowing students to tailor their studies to career ambitions. Participants complete nine months of classroom learning, with eligible students having the option for a three-month cooperative placement. JD candidates and On-Campus LLM students choosing the year-long program benefit from challenging coursework combined with the distinctive Cooperative Legal Education Program, featuring potential placements at law firms, corporations, judicial settings, government offices, or nonprofit organizations. With guidance from LLM career advisors, students can align their professional aspirations with suitable co-op experiences.
