The School of Law provides a range of globally-oriented LLM programs designed for adaptability and growth. From demystifying the US legal framework to collaborating with American attorneys, specializing in specific legal domains, or preparing for US bar exams, Northeastern's LLM empowers legal professionals to reach their aspirations. The On-Campus LLM delivers an intensive academic experience, blending theoretical knowledge with practical skills while allowing students to tailor their studies to career ambitions. Participants complete nine months of classroom learning, with an optional three-month co-op for eligible candidates. Both JD students and On-Campus LLM candidates choosing the year-long program benefit from challenging coursework combined with the distinctive Cooperative Legal Education Program (co-op). Potential placements span law firms, corporations, legal clinics, judicial systems, government bodies, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations. With guidance from an LLM career advisor, you'll clarify your professional aims and secure a co-op aligned with your objectives.
