The JD/MPH dual-degree program, offered in partnership with Bouv College of Health Sciences, unites faculty from multiple disciplines across the School of Law, School of Business, College of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Khoury College of Computer and Information Sciences. These experts specialize in working with diverse urban communities, equipping students with hands-on training and leadership skills to tackle public health challenges. The MPH curriculum similarly draws on interdisciplinary faculty from these schools plus the College of Health Sciences, preparing students with practical competencies to solve complex health issues and support underserved populations. Northeastern features America's leading cooperative legal education model, requiring all law students to complete four co-op placements in varied legal environments. JD/MPH candidates fulfill two of these co-ops in public health settings. Additionally, dual-degree participants can specialize their JD with a health policy and law concentration.
