The Bachelor of Science program in speech-language pathology and audiology combines hands-on experience, a comprehensive academic foundation, and specialized clinical coursework to study both typical and atypical communication. This degree prepares students for advanced studies in speech-language pathology and audiology while also qualifying graduates for roles as speech-language pathology assistants in clinical environments or other healthcare and education careers.
The curriculum emphasizes critical analysis, research proficiency, and effective verbal and written communication. Alongside core communication science classes, students complete coursework in education, health sciences, technology, ethics, cultural diversity, and psychology. All first-year applicants are required to submit the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Once your application is submitted and processed, you will be able to access your SRAR through the Application Status Check portal.
All high school transcripts must be sent directly to Northeastern by your high school by the application deadline. Any transcripts sent by you, your family or an independent educational consultant will not be accepted.
First-year applicants must provide a transcript which includes final grades from grades 9, 10, and 11 (or the international equivalents).
