The Bachelor of Science in Data Science & Psychology enables students to explore frameworks for understanding human behavior and cognition while creating evaluation methods and therapeutic approaches for psychological conditions. The program combines academic study, research projects, and hands-on experiences to equip students with expertise in large-scale data processing, data science techniques, and analytical methodologies. This encompasses learning about gathering, processing, storing, accessing, and computationally examining neurological and behavioral data across multiple formats. This interdisciplinary major merges psychological studies with data science, providing a comprehensive education in cognitive processes, brain functions, and behavioral patterns alongside techniques for managing diverse data types - from numerical and textual to visual and multimedia content, regardless of scale. Psychological research employs evidence-based approaches involving human and animal subjects to understand individual behaviors and mental processes while developing diagnostic instruments and intervention strategies. Through this curriculum, learners can enhance their psychological understanding with advanced competencies in processing massive datasets, data science principles, and analytical interpretation.
