This interdisciplinary program trains students in both criminal justice and political science, exploring the connections between these fields. The political science curriculum covers essential subjects including U.S. government structures, global political systems, international affairs, and security studies. Meanwhile, criminal justice coursework examines both individual and institutional dimensions of crime and justice systems. Graduates will grasp how these disciplines intersect in analyzing and responding to criminal activity. As part of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities—a pioneer in hands-on liberal arts education—students enhance their knowledge of cultural, social, historical, and political concepts through academic rigor and practical experiences. They develop crucial abilities in analytical reading, research, verbal communication, and problem-solving using both traditional and innovative approaches.
