This interdisciplinary program cultivates an understanding of crime and justice matters in their worldwide, cross-border, and global frameworks from the early 1900s onward. The international studies curriculum establishes a base in subjects like state-to-state interactions (including disputes, collaborations, and power structures), non-governmental organizations, international advocacy groups, worldwide activist movements, and government-citizen dynamics (covering governance systems, human rights, equity issues, and civic participation). The law enforcement component offers fundamental insights into both personal and institutional dimensions of crime studies and judicial systems. Graduates emerge prepared with competencies to operate in multicultural environments within professions focused on analyzing and responding to unlawful conduct.
