Students earn an Accounting AAS degree upon completing 90 credit hours. Learn to gather, process, evaluate, and present financial data through reports and schedules. Develop models for informed decision-making and draw accurate conclusions from quantitative information. Understand and apply GAAP standards, tax laws, and government compliance. Gain technical expertise with accounting software, bank statement reconciliations, and maintaining financial records. Recognize ethical dilemmas in professional accounting and apply sound judgment.
