The Management degree is a four-year curriculum combining general education, foundational business courses (covering accounting, finance, management, marketing, and information systems), international perspectives, and specialized management classes. Students can further specialize by selecting Human Resource Management or Supply Chain Management tracks to develop targeted expertise. The program cultivates essential business acumen and leadership capabilities such as strategic planning, organizational skills, critical thinking, data analysis, effective communication, collaboration, and leadership development. Graduates emerge ready to excel in dynamic business environments across both corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Through the Department of Transportation, Logistics, and Finance, students can pursue an online Master's in Supply Chain Management (MSCM) or a graduate certificate in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). These credentials are conferred by the College of Business in partnership with the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute. The MSCM and ERP programs adopt a multidisciplinary perspective on supply chain, logistics, and transportation, welcoming students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Designed for future supply chain leaders, working professionals, military personnel, and government employees, these programs address contemporary supply chain demands. Graduates can explore numerous career paths such as supply chain director, logistics coordinator, distribution center supervisor, operations optimization specialist, among other rewarding positions in the field.
