Alumni from North Dakota State University's Civil and Environmental Engineering Department utilize their training across various professional sectors both nationally and internationally. Employers nationwide actively recruit NDSU civil engineering graduates, offering attractive compensation packages. These graduates have effectively applied their knowledge to advance their careers and improve society. The department provides Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs in Civil Engineering, Bachelor's and Master's programs in Environmental Engineering, and participates in interdisciplinary graduate studies including Materials and Nanotechnology (Ph.D.), Environmental Conservation Sciences (M.S. and Ph.D.), Transportation and Logistics (Ph.D.), and Biomedical Engineering (M.S. and Ph.D.). An accelerated 41-credit Master's program in Civil Engineering is scheduled to launch in Fall 2021.
