Anthropology examines humanity across different eras and locations. It aims to comprehend human nature by investigating both the distinctions and commonalities among people and their experiences worldwide, throughout our species' history.
The anthropology program's objectives for both major and minor degrees are dual-purpose: (1) fostering intercultural and global awareness, and (2) expanding our understanding of what it means to be human. Regardless of specialization or region, we employ cultural perspectives to analyze human diversity throughout time - from ancient history to contemporary societies and beyond. We achieve these educational aims through academic instruction, scholarly investigation, and contributions to our institution, local community, and the broader field of anthropology.
