The Statistical Genetics specialization is designed for individuals fascinated by how genetic information applies to fields like genomics, healthcare, and farming. This program is distinct from the Bioinformatics Master's. Statistics graduate students have multiple specialization options. Beyond the standard (general) Statistics Master's, focus areas include Biomedical Statistics, Environmental Statistics, Statistical Genetics, and Financial Statistics. These specializations primarily vary in their mandatory classes, typically through elective selections. While students may opt for the Master of Science track, currently few do, as it necessitates completing a Thesis.
