The Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering provides bachelor's degree programs in civil, construction, and environmental engineering, along with advanced studies in computing systems, construction engineering, water resources and coastal engineering, structural mechanics, transportation systems, and geotechnical engineering.
This curriculum equips students with core system methodologies and teaches them to utilize modern computational tools for analyzing engineering challenges, evaluating optimal solutions, and gaining deeper understanding of design and public planning issues. Faculty and students collaborate on cross-disciplinary research projects addressing diverse topics including air quality management, water resource systems, watershed conservation, coastal environments, waste management, and environmental engineering processes.
