Our program's alumni emerge as distinguished leaders in science education at both state and national levels. You'll gain the chance to collaborate with renowned specialists across various areas of science education research and practice. The doctoral curriculum focuses on four key areas: Faculty positions in higher education, Leadership and teaching roles in informal education, K-12 teaching and curriculum supervision, and Educational research and evaluation. Doctoral candidates in the College of Education must complete at least 72 graduate credit hours post-bachelor's degree, with most programs mandating a minimum of 60 graduate credits following an approved master's degree.
