In 1990, Congress established the concept of Sustainable Agriculture (SA) as a comprehensive approach to farming that combines plant and animal production methods tailored to specific locations. This system aims to achieve long-term goals including: meeting humanity's food and textile requirements, improving environmental conditions and preserving natural resources essential for agricultural sustainability, optimizing the use of finite resources, incorporating natural biological processes when suitable, maintaining farm and ranch profitability, and improving living standards for agricultural workers and communities (as outlined in Title XVI, Subtitle A of the Food, Agriculture, Conservation and Trade Act of 1990).

IELTS Academic-6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score), Provide Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a total score of at least 80 on the Internet-based Test (iBT), and with minimum test scores for each section of: Listening 18 points, Reading 18 points, Writing 18 points, Speaking 18 points for admission , Toefl paper-based test requires a score of 550 or higher (with scores of 50 on at least two of the three sections and no section score below 45). To be considered for admission in full graduate standing, applicants must have: a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university. Exceptions to standard accreditation may be granted for applicants with international degrees, including applicants with three-year degrees from institutions in Europe participating in the Bologna Process. a GPA of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) in their undergraduate degrees.
