The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program builds upon a liberal arts foundation while integrating core professional studies in social work practice, human behavior, diversity, community services, policy development, and research methodologies. Elective courses allow for specialized focus in diverse practice fields including child welfare, gerontology, substance abuse treatment, poverty and housing insecurity, family services, and educational social work. The program requires completion of a 420-hour supervised internship in a social service environment. Graduates are equipped for beginning-level professional roles in social work and advanced academic pursuits. Upon completion, students qualify for certification as Licensed Social Workers. Career opportunities span multiple sectors including medical facilities, mental health teams, social service agencies, educational institutions, and various public and private sector organizations.
Freshman applicants must submit an official high school transcript (academic record)
IELTS Academic: 6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score)
TOEFL IBT: 85 or higher (minimum of 18 in each sub score)
PTE Academic: 62 or higher (minimum of 53 in each sub score)
English Composition I and II from an accredited U.S. College or University: Grade of C or higher
